I hope to use these blogs as a way of organizing the many (too many) hobby projects I have. I have a tendency to start with great enthusiasm and then either let a project slide or get distracted by the latest shiney thing that comes along. Maybe by documenting my progress I can keep the momentum going to actually finish something. At the very least it will let me play around with blogging software.
